Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is the latest smartphone to be compatible with DNB’s 5G network
Today, another smartphone has been added to the certified compatibility list with Malaysia’s 5G network, which is the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. Announced by Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB) in a press statement, the A73 5G follows other Samsung devices that are already compatible with the 5G network in Malaysia.
Previously, we reported that the POCO F4 GT is compatible with the 5G network in Malaysia, alongside these Samsung devices:
-
Galaxy S22 5G
-
Galaxy S22+ 5G
-
Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G
-
Galaxy S21 5G
-
Galaxy S21+ 5G
-
Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
With the addition of the Galaxy A73 5G to the list, the smartphone becomes one of the cheapest devices that is officially compatible with DNB’s 5G network. Well, let’s hope that the rollout of 5G will be expedited by DNB and more devices will be compatible with our country's 5G network soon.
Yesterday, we also reported that DNB is still in negotiations with the major telco companies in Malaysia in regards to the 5G service agreement in Malaysia. The companies have until 30 June 2022 to join the agreement, as announced by Communications and Multimedia Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
